Bird Watching In Cashmere
 

There are several sites within the city limits and the surrounding area for birding.  Feel free to drop us an e-mail at mail@cityofcashmere.org and we will help you find the best seasonal areas.

Usually in winter – at feeders –  there may be sightings of: House Finch, Song Sparrow, Goldfinch, Pine Sisken, House Sparrow, Junco; in yards and trees – Towhee, California Quail, Merlin, Kestrel, Coopers Hawk, Bald Eagle; in or near ponds – Common and Barrows Goldeneye, Mallard, Green Wing Teal, Great Blue Heron; and along the Columbia River – rafts of Wigeon, Coot, and Canada Goose.

Early spring sightings - Violet-green Swallows, Evening Grosbeak, Cedar Waxwing, Kingfisher.
