Chelan County Historical Museum and Pioneer Village is located near Hwy 2 on Cotlets Way in Cashmere. This renowned Historical Museum houses one of the best collections of pioneer artifacts in the Northwest. The re-creation of the history of the Columbia River Indians before the arrival of the Europeans is superb. Pioneer Village is made up of actual homes of the early settlers of Cashmere, furnished with antique furniture and accessories. A smithy, school, hotel, railroad buildings, homes, saddle shop, doctor and dentist offices, and a general store are part of the 20 pioneer structures that are located here on the banks of the Wenatchee River - along with a working waterwheel.
