The City of Cashmere Finance Department, under the Direction of the City Clerk-Treasurer, administers budgeting, purchasing, grant reporting, investment of City funds, and all other aspects of the City finances.

The budget process begins about September of each year and the budget for the next year is approved by the City Council usually during the first council meeting of December. Several public hearings are held so citizens can provide input during the budgeting process. Please refer to the event calendar for public hearing dates.
